We had the pleasure of creating four Moss Art Walls for Bank of America Corporate Center in Uptown Charlotte. Each wall incorporated three shades of preserved reindeer moss, creating a unique green element in this corporate office setting.
The collaboration for these maintenance-free plant walls came from Little Diversified Architectural Consulting, an international architecture and design firm, as well as a talented team of millworkers at Onsite Woodwork Corporation. The four moss art walls had to be able to uniquely stand on their own and at the same time create a cohesive look across the Bank of America floor. We are obsessed with how these dimensional walls turned out.

This Moss Art is called “The Park” and it requires no-maintenance.

The fourth Moss Art Wall for BofA is called Courtyard.
The use of biophilic design in the office setting not only is aesthetically pleasing, but it brings a calm element to workers. Biophilic Design is a concept used within the building industry to increase occupant connectivity to the natural environment through the use of direct nature, indirect nature, and space and place conditions. Our Moss Art is the perfect way to bring this concept to life. The beauty of our work is that it brings that natural element inside without all of the hassle. Our moss requires no water source, no sunlight and no expensive ongoing maintenance. Just hang it and enjoy!
These four Moss Art Walls, named The Plaza, Greenway, Park and Courtyard, had some varying levels of moss to showcase dimension in the design. Our green plant walls were part of a larger renovation for the Bank of America Corporate Executive Suite. This work can be found in Charlotte, NC.

Preserved Moss Logo for Charlotte’s Local Media Source
Charlotte Agenda is a popular news source here in Charlotte, NC. It is the brainchild of Ted Williams and Katie Levans. According to their credo, “The Agenda exists to make Charlotte smarter and better connected,” and they do this with a daily newsletter, their website, Instagram & the annual City Guide. Watching their team grow and evolve into the pulse of the Queen City has been incredible.
We were honored when Cristina Wilson (President / Partner) and Abby Clark (Operations Manager) approached us to create the Charlotte Agenda logo in moss for their brand new office. And the best part was that it was a surprise for Ted, Katie and the rest of the staff. The talented Marissa Wilson of Artful Interiors was responsible for the interior design of their new space at Gather Wilmore (529 W. Summit Ave. Charlotte, NC). We quietly worked on this 4’ wide piece in our studio while the office was built out.
When the day finally came for installation, we gathered our team and headed to the new Agenda Headquarters. Getting to see the bare bones of this office was a treat. We know what it takes to get a business up and running and we could just feel the excitement in the air. Our Moss Art accompanied a gorgeous handmade table by Rosewood Co. Seriously, if you haven’t heard of Rosewood Co or Janine Bithell before, check out her Instagram.

Modern, Farmhouse Style Sign Made of Preserved Moss
We had the pleasure of creating a custom Moss Art sign for Adam Fiorenza and his team at byFiorenza Communities. This developer specializes in modern farmhouse Homes in the Charlotte area. They have properties coming soon to Steele Creek, Matthews, Mint Hill and Rock Hill neighborhoods.
Our friends at 8Lincoln30, local Charlotte woodworkers, helped us craft this beauty. This piece is 6.5’ wide with the logo sitting at 6’ in beautiful forest green moss. We love the finished product. Check out some of the photos below.

Proud owners of a new Moss Art sign!
All of our work is completely custom. That means that every time a client approaches us we are likely crafting a new way to display our Moss Art – and that is fun and challenging at the same time. This project was no different. Since “communities” was so small in relation to the logo, we had to get creative and use an epoxy fill to complete the sign. We think it turned out great! Sleek, sexy and the perfect addition to this modern, farmhouse style design.
If you are interested in having us create a unique piece of art or signage for your company, give us a shout. We would love to bring your vision to life through nature.

GoTriangle Moss Art now decorates walls of headquarters

Custom Moss Art wall for GoTriangle in Durham, NC. #thesavageway
We had the honor of creating some custom art for a company called GoTriangle. Their new headquarters is based in Durham, NC and they called us when they wanted to bring some green, creative artwork into the space. GoTriangle Moss Art was the perfect way to transform their company logo into beautiful, green interior decor.
GoTriangle provides public transportation for the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. This includes “regional bus and shuttle service, paratransit services, ridematching and vanpools; commuter resources and an emergency ride home program.” Learn more about their efforts to help commuters during a rapidly growing time in North Carolina.
The Artwork
The two pieces we created involved 4 colors of moss, 42 individual triangles, 2 walls, a traveling installer, and lots of love. In total, the two complete pieces covered a 6ft x 7ft wall and a 5ft x 7ft wall. From the start, the goal was to bring the GoTriangle logo to life. We looked at other marketing efforts they were making in the community in order to retain brand standards, but knew that there would be some restrictions on what we could do because we work with Moss – aka nature. However, the end result turned out not only on-brand, but looking awesome in the space.
The best part about these custom pieces is that we are able to provide a green element indoors without any maintenance. That means no need for a water source, drainage, a light source, or anyone to tend to the plants. By using preserved moss, we bring 100% real plants into a corporate office space and alleviate the headache.

To say that we are proud of this installation is an understatement. We were presented with a challenge and through ingenuity, we were able to create something that will stand the test of time. (Our team even had a little fun when installing the triangles – Check out this video. “They’re light green, they’re dark green, they’re lime green, they’re every color green”….. 🙂
