Barpay App launches in Charlotte, NC

Barpay App launches in Charlotte, NC

We live in a time of convenience and one of our latest Clean Graffiti clients has found a way to bring that convenience culture to the bar scene. Barpay App hopes to simplify your night with the ease of an app. Open, maintain, and close your bar tab right from your smartphone.

How it works:

  • Download the app
  • Save your credit card info
  • Select a venue
  • Place an order
  • Pick up your drink

Now that’s what we call a “A Better Way to Bar.” If you want to learn more about the app, check out this great Charlotte Agenda write up of this new Queen City service.

This new service is now available at a variety bars around the Queen City. Make sure to try out the app this Labor Day weekend.

  • Roxbury
  • SIP
  • Prohibition
  • Tavern on the Tracks
  • Gin Mill
  • Queen City Q

We so appreciate when brands choose to use our eco-friendly, innovative outdoor messaging tactic in their marketing mix. Clean Graffiti, aka Reverse Graffiti, lets a brand speak to the public in a whole new way. We are able to target Barpay’s key demographic right on the sidewalk.

It’s Speed Street Time

It’s Speed Street Time

600 Festival Hosts Their Annual Circle K Speed Street in Uptown Charlotte

It’s that time of year again. Speed Street is here, and the crowds are ready. There are an expected 300,000 participants to make their way through the music festival, food trucks, and games in Uptown Charlotte.

Circle K Speed Street presented by Coca-Cola has commemorated the May races at Charlotte Motor Speedway with spectacular family-oriented events since its inception. This event will be rocking the streets of Charlotte May 23-25, 2019 with live entertainment, access to racing’s brightest stars, giveaways and interactive displays. Corey Smith, Brothers Osborne, and STYX will be the headline talent for this 25th anniversary of Speed Street.

CLEAN GRAFFITI

We had the honor of working with Mary Johnson and Meg Seitz, the powerhouses behind the marketing for this year’s Speed Street, on a Clean Graffiti campaign. We put down a fun “Drive into Summer” message a month prior to this weekend’s event to help drive awareness. We placed these spots in high traffic areas around the popular neighborhoods of Uptown, Plaza Midwood, NoDa, Southend and FreeMoreWest.

The reaction from passersby has been great! We see people post on their Instagram stories all the time with this fun message. And the best part of this creative marketing is that it is just water. Using only a pressure washer and a stencil, we are able to create a contrast in the dirt and leave a clean message behind. Our eco-friendly messaging is a great accompaniment to an event’s marketing mix. You are targeting your audience exactly where they are.. the sidewalk.

Moss Art for byFiorenza Communities

Moss Art for byFiorenza Communities

Modern, Farmhouse Style Sign Made of Preserved Moss

We had the pleasure of creating a custom Moss Art sign for Adam Fiorenza and his team at byFiorenza Communities. This developer specializes in modern farmhouse Homes in the Charlotte area. They have properties coming soon to Steele Creek, Matthews, Mint Hill and Rock Hill neighborhoods.

Our friends at 8Lincoln30, local Charlotte woodworkers, helped us craft this beauty. This piece is 6.5’ wide with the logo sitting at 6’ in beautiful forest green moss. We love the finished product. Check out some of the photos below.

Proud owners of a new Moss Art sign!

All of our work is completely custom. That means that every time a client approaches us we are likely crafting a new way to display our Moss Art – and that is fun and challenging at the same time. This project was no different. Since “communities” was so small in relation to the logo, we had to get creative and use an epoxy fill to complete the sign. We think it turned out great! Sleek, sexy and the perfect addition to this modern, farmhouse style design.

If you are interested in having us create a unique piece of art or signage for your company, give us a shout. We would love to bring your vision to life through nature.

Scavenger Hunt Encourages Charlotte Locals to “Explore Your 704”

Scavenger Hunt Encourages Charlotte Locals to “Explore Your 704”

Explore Your 704 is a Clean Graffiti Scavenger Hunt, powered by OrthoCarolina, promoting city-pride and has weekly winners.

A Clean Graffiti scavenger hunt. This has been on our bucket list for at least 4 years now. Sure, a traditional scavenger hunt could have happened at any time, but we’re anything but traditional. Working alongside our awesome client, OrthoCarolina, we have created the first ever Clean Graffiti scavenger hunt called “Explore Your 704.” And it’s pretty epic.

Explore Your 704 Logo

Explore Your 704 is a scavenger hunt using Clean Graffiti throughout Charlotte. Contest runs Oct. 10- Nov. 10.

WHAT IS EXPLORE YOUR 704
Explore Your 704 is the first scavenger hunt of its kind in Charlotte, NC. We created three graphic designs in partnership with Gustave Soto, local Charlotte graphic designer. We then translated those designs into our custom stencils to use for the Clean Graffiti portion. If you’re unfamiliar with Clean Graffiti, we clean an image onto a dirty sidewalk with a pressure washer. Don’t worry, it’s just water). This Scavenger Hunt was a way to make a game of exploring the Queen City’s finest neighborhoods.

Explore Your 704 is your chance to get out, explore Charlotte and win tons of great prizes. Check out ExploreYour704.com or more details.

THE GAME:
Twelve clues will guide you to three different sidewalk art images that exude city-pride. Each of the three images will be labeled (1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3) and there are 4 unique locations per image. (check out this link to download the pdf with all of the hints). Your mission is to use the clues to find these Clean Graffiti images. Snap a photo and upload to Instagram using #ExploreYour704. Each individual photo posted is considered an entry to win (aka you do not have to find all three to be a winner).

Here is what the images look like:

Moss Art for Graham St. Pub & Patio

Moss Art for Graham St. Pub & Patio

Custom Signage for New Uptown Charlotte Restaurant

Graham St. Pub & Patio is new to Uptown Charlotte. This restaurant/bar has one of the best outdoor patios and is casual enough to hit up before a Charlotte Knights baseball game. That’s a win-win in our books. Check out this awesome view from the upstairs patio (photo via @GrahamStPub Instagram).

To make this new Charlotte restaurant even better, they wanted a custom Moss Art sign. We were honored to create a piece for the team at Graham St. Our Moss Art requires no maintenance, so that means you can hang it anywhere. No need for a water source, drainage or sunlight! It truly is perfect to bring a green interior design element into a space without any of the long-term maintenance.

Check out the finished product below. And better yet, go see it in person at Graham St. Pub & Patio (400 S. Graham St Charlotte, NC) and enjoy a cocktail on the patio.
