We had the honor of creating a Bad Bunny portrait for our friends at Salud Cerveceria located in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte, NC.
Creating custom Moss Art is definitely our specialty. We have clients in both the commercial and residential space that have a unique vision for a project and we are able to bring it to life. Our incredible team of Moss Artists are so capable of creating something out of nothing. Watching the process of having the idea for a Bad Bunny Portrait to seeing it hang on the wall is truly a magical thing to witness.

We brought this idea to the crew at Salud and collaboratively, we landed on this moss color-block approach to a Pop Art piece. We’ve done this style a few times over the years, for example our portrait of Usher, as well as Frida / Biggie / Dolly / Prince. The end result always blows us away.
Bad Bunny is certainly a powerhouse and he truly had a beautiful display of talents during the Super Bowl Halftime Show this past February. We love that we were able to get this piece completed in time for Salud’s “Benito Bowl” Super Bowl watch party. The room was PACKED and everyone enjoyed the artwork. And now, our Bad Bunny portrait officially hangs on the walls of Salud. It’s a reminder of Puerto Rican heritage, progressive beliefs and the desire for love to rise above all. Check out his NPR Tiny Desk Performance to add a little joy to your day.
We adore Benito / Bad Bunny and all he stands for. He represent everything we love about artists; the art of persistence, using your voice for good, creating magic straight from your soul, and doing it your way. Honored we can use our medium to honor such an icon.
Next time you’re at Salud for a Saturday Noche Latina, snag a picture and send it to us on Instagram!

Quick Summary:
- New Moss Art for Address East End Apartments in Raleigh, NC
- Large Preserved Moss wall with logo welcomes residents in lobby / reception area
- The Savage Way Team turn-key installation available.
Apartment and Multi-Family Living Communities are some of our favorite locations to install Moss Art. Not only do we get to enhance the everyday living for residents, but we are able to positively impact every single visitor to the common areas. This latest preserved moss wall was created for Address East End Apartments in Raleigh, NC, a new luxury apartment facility.
We worked in collaboration with the client and the designers, Southpark Interiors, to create this geode pattern-inspired corner Moss Art installation. Using shades of green and a stark contrast of black moss helped to elevate the piece to match the upscale vibe of the complex. Then to have a white logo and a backlit option really helped to make the large scale piece stand out. Check out this behind the scenes video we made of this project.

The Savage Way Team travelled and installed this gorgeous new artwork for the Address East End crew. Our highly skilled team made the process turn-key for the client. We were able to handle all of the minor changes on-site and touchup the moss to ensure the piece looked flawless. Please note that we have a variety of installation options in our contracts. We are always available to install the end artwork turn-key, or we work hand-in-hand with the Millworker or General Contractor to make sure that instructions are clear for the onsite installer. Whatever is in the budget and desire of the client can be accommodated.
Moss Art is such a great way to elevate your interior design. Brining in plants without the maintenance is such a great option for multi-family living communities. We love when a vision comes to life like this project.

The Savage Way has been creating custom Moss Art for almost a decade now. We create everything from 70′ long moss walls in a corporate lobby to a small moss logo in a coffee shop. No matter the size, the fusion of art and nature is something that fuels us as artists. There is something magical about the beautiful dance of color, texture, and use of nature to enhance a space. This “thing” actually has an industry term called Biophilic Design.
By definition, Biophilic Design blends someone’s innate attraction to nature and living things into architecture and interior design. Many modern workspaces seek to integrate biophilic design strategies and the nature-forward approach into their design plans for a variety of reasons; improving employees’ quality of life, meeting sustainability goals and increasing productivity and creativity. Check out this article in House Beautiful to read more on Biophilic Design.
We have the pleasure of installing these calming elements into tons of workspaces in North Carolina and beyond. Below are some examples of green preserved plant walls in action. Take note of how seeing the lush greenery makes you feel when even looking at a photo… now imagine opening your computer and getting work done while next to a natural element like moss. #Dreamy.

Interested in your own nature-loving oasis without all of the maintenance? Whether you’re looking to change the vibe in your office or your home, The Savage Way is ready to help! Email [email protected] to chat.

Terraces at Park Place showcases beautiful, organic Moss Art in their newly redesigned space. And in our opinion, this is how you elevate a corporate lobby!
The Savage Way was brought in to design a Moss Art installation that would cover the expansive, white lobby. We worked with the team at Collett Capital, owners of the property, to bring biophilic design into the space. We landed on these wavy, flowing lines in various shades of green to bring life to the space. Using preserved reindeer moss, we were able to create a calming, welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in the door.

Terraces at Park Place is a plaza owned and operated by Collett Capital. Collett Capital is a real estate private equity firm with over $700+ million in assets under management. The firm is focused on acquiring and developing well-located, income producing real estate assets with durable cash flows and upside potential. Learn more here. In this particular building, there is 73,000+ square feet of space with tenants like OrthoCarolina, Starbucks, Sabor Latin Street Grill, Sherwin Williams, Firehouse Subs, TLC Wings, Sprint, Pizza Hut, and more.
We love when companies decide to use green walls in their space. Biophilic design, or someone’s innate attraction to nature and living things, blends perfectly into architecture and interior design. Many modern workspaces seek to integrate biophilic design strategies into their design plans for a variety of reasons; improving employees’ quality of life, meeting sustainability goals and increasing productivity. Research has shown that humans prefer a natural environment over built, especially in a post-COVID world. By having Moss Art in a workspace, employers are promoting overall well-being.
We love the scale of this project with Collett Capital and are honored to be included in the design.

These beautiful Geode Moss Frames have found a home at the office of Global Support & Development (GSD). We love how this idea translated across 75 sqft of space in their new Charlotte, NC location.
We worked with GSD from idea inception to installation and the process was seamless. As you can see below, our installation team worked hard to hang these huge beauties in their break room area. Our Project Manager, Kimmy, is seen next to the frames for a size reference!

Each Moss Art frame is created in a custom 5’ x 5’ painted wood frame with gorgeous preserved reindeer moss. We took the concept of a geode crystal and turned it into art. Not only are geode’s gorgeous and but we love to surround ourselves with their energy. They are symbols of creativity and the birthing of new ideas. It’s been said that keeping a geode in your workspace can facilitate inspiration and increase creative thinking. These three Geode Moss Frames are leaving a huge impact on this office space. We are so grateful to share our eco-friendly plant art with companies making an impact.
GSD is a humanitarian organization whose mission is to rapidly respond to disasters in collaboration with at-risk communities & support them to prepare for the future. In a nutshell – they are doing powerful community work. You can learn more about them on their website.
If you love the look of this art, we have smaller residential sized pieces available in our shop. Check out our Geode Moss Circles and Geode Frame.
