QUICK SUMMARY:
– Faux Greenery wall installed at Collet Capital in Midtown, Charlotte, NC.
– 61sqft of A-Class fire-rated and UV protected faux plants next to a sleek wood slat wall elevating the biophilic design
– Beyond faux green walls, The Savage Way can create faux planters, hanging plants from the ceiling, etc.
We have another Faux Greenery project to share. We worked with the folks at Collet & Associates and Warco Construction to bring you this gorgeous Faux Greenery wall at the Collet Capital location in Midtown, Charlotte, NC. This is 61 sqft of lush faux plants next to a wood slat wall in their common area. Since our typical preserved Moss Art was not the desired end aesthetic goal, we were able to offer this alternative solution to a full green wall moment.
We love the use of Faux Foliage panels to bring even more elements of biophilic design into the space. Our faux greenery product is made from plastic plants that are A-Class fire-rated and UV protected, that means you get all of the visual benefits of a ‘living plant wall’ without the need for natural light, a maintenance schedule or drainage. Read more on the product here or check out our web page with more details.

The use of greenery in any space brings such an element of grounding and joy to the people that work there. We love how the mixture of wood elements, greenery and calming blue paint cohesively work together to create a modern workspace that is enviable. The more that we work with these faux greenery materials, the more we appreciate how plants (even when they are artificial) can elevate and change the energy of a space.
This particular project is showcasing how our Faux Greenery walls can look next to sleek millwork panels…and it is beyond gorgeous. However, it is also fun to note that a square or rectangle shape is not the only moment we can create. More biophilic design elements can come to life in the form of planters, hanging plants from the ceiling, etc. We have a ton of both fire-rated and non-fire-rated options to suit your style (and budget). Please feel free to inquire for more information.

Our friends at RAIN CLT utilized Clean Graffiti to help bring awareness to the upcoming AIDS Walk Charlotte event happening Saturday, May 6, 2023. We love to see organizations and companies use Clean Graffiti to help get a public health message out to the community. In fact, it is one of our favorite ways to use this medium. We are able to target an audience where they are walking and give them an unexpected message of encouragement or bring awareness to an event.

The AIDS WALK brings the Charlotte community together to “stomp out” HIV stigma and raise funds for RAIN CLT. According to the RAIN website, “Every dollar raised stays in Charlotte to support the services and programs RAIN provides to people living with HIV and those at risk. For 31 years, RAIN has been empowering persons living with HIV and those at risk to be healthy and stigma free.”
AIDS WALK Charlotte continues to be the largest HIV fundraising walk in the Carolinas and since 1997 has raised over $3.3 million. That’s incredible! Stomping out the stigma when it comes to sexual health and HIV / AIDS awareness is so important and we are honored to be a part of helping to spread the message. The walk is roughly two miles long and takes the average person around 30 minutes to complete. This family affair fundraiser is open to all.
DETAILS FOR THE RAIN CLT AIDS WALK
Location: Wells Fargo Atrium & Plaza, 301 S. Tryon Street

Okay Carolina Panthers fans… it’s time to do your dance! We are honored to partner with our friends at OrthoCarolina & the Carolina Panthers for a Touchdown Dance Contest. We have put six Clean Graffiti Dance Zones in Uptown Charlotte in hopes that you will see a spot, do a little dance, have some fun and be entered to win 4 home game tickets!
A little about Clean Graffiti – it’s advertising made with water. That’s right, Clean Graffiti is made by pressure washing a stencil onto the sidewalk. We use a specialized stencil to create the artwork and our team then maps out the advertising campaign to capture the most benefit for the client. From company logos to community safety messages to fun social contests, Clean Graffiti is a great way to target your audience in an unexpected and environmentally friendly way!
It’s easy to enter. Follow these steps:
1. Find a Touchdown Dance Zone made with Clean Graffiti (aka reverse graffiti) in various locations on the sidewalks near Bank of America Stadium.
2. Do your favorite touchdown dance on camera and post it to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.
3. Use the hashtag #TDContest and tag @OrthoCarolina in your post.
4. Post before the contest ends on Sept 19, 2021 to be entered to win four tickets to a home Panthers game this season. Winners will be notified via the channel they posted on by Sept. 24.
Here’s where you can find all of the Clean Graffiti locations for the #TDContest.

Read the official rules & regulations here.
We love working with the team at OrthoCarolina. Yes, they are incredibly talented surgeons and leaders in Orthopedic Medicine, but we also know them as true partners. Whether we are pitching them a far-out idea or they bring us into the conversation because they know we are “out-of-the-box,” the OC team is always ready to push the line, ready to elevate their marketing voice and show other companies how to create brand recognition and loyalty. We value their trust in us, their community leadership efforts and overall ability to have fun with their marketing campaigns. Like this Touchdown Dance Contest with an NFL team – fun, different and eco-friendly!

We love when companies contact us to do something out of the box. When they want to create a fun and interactive campaign that brings attention to their brand in a different way, that’s the ticket. And that’s what Brixx Pizza decided to do.
Brixx Pizza opened their doors in 1998 in the historic Dilworth neighborhood in Charlotte, NC. By utilizing brick ovens to enhance the natural flavors of quality ingredients, Brixx has been able to successfully open 30 stores throughout the Southeast. Not only is their pizza delicious, but they have a huge heart for this community. Most recently, Brixx Pizza donated $10,000 to the Isabella Santos Foundation.
The Brixx Pizza team had us place random branded rocks around the city. The goal was to bring attention to their Charlotte locations and encourage the downloading of their Brixx Roxx app on iPhone and Android.

Brixx Pizza launched a creative marketing campaign using branded rocks to drive traffic to their 6 locations.

Random Brixx Rock in front of Coco & the Director in Uptown Charlotte, NC.

You Rock. Brixx Roxx. Let’s be friends.

Creative Marketing at it’s finest, by #thesavageway.
We placed red rocks with a branded message on it near these six Brixx Pizza locations:
Birkdale (16915 Birkdale Commons Pkwy)
Blakeney (9820 Rea Rd.)
Dilworth (1801 Scott Ave.)
Foxcroft (7814 Fairview Rd.)
Uptown (225 E. 6th St.)
Fort Mill, SC (1343 Broadcloth St.)
We placed these rocks in popular, high-foot traffic areas, think parks, shopping plazas, parking lots, etc. Anywhere your family might hang out for a minute, you could find a rock. (i.e. Harris Teeter entrances, Target parking lot, Starbucks planters, etc.)
Here’s how it works:
- Find a “Brixx Roxx” promo rock around one of the six Charlotte Brixx locations
- Download the Brixx Roxx app
- Bring the rock into your local Brixx location
- Get a free, yummy surprise
It’s that easy. So go out there, pizza lovers, and find yourself a rock. Let Brixx Pizza know how much you love their creative marketing idea!

600 Festival Hosts Their Annual Circle K Speed Street in Uptown Charlotte
It’s that time of year again. Speed Street is here, and the crowds are ready. There are an expected 300,000 participants to make their way through the music festival, food trucks, and games in Uptown Charlotte.
Circle K Speed Street presented by Coca-Cola has commemorated the May races at Charlotte Motor Speedway with spectacular family-oriented events since its inception. This event will be rocking the streets of Charlotte May 23-25, 2019 with live entertainment, access to racing’s brightest stars, giveaways and interactive displays. Corey Smith, Brothers Osborne, and STYX will be the headline talent for this 25th anniversary of Speed Street.
CLEAN GRAFFITI
We had the honor of working with Mary Johnson and Meg Seitz, the powerhouses behind the marketing for this year’s Speed Street, on a Clean Graffiti campaign. We put down a fun “Drive into Summer” message a month prior to this weekend’s event to help drive awareness. We placed these spots in high traffic areas around the popular neighborhoods of Uptown, Plaza Midwood, NoDa, Southend and FreeMoreWest.
The reaction from passersby has been great! We see people post on their Instagram stories all the time with this fun message. And the best part of this creative marketing is that it is just water. Using only a pressure washer and a stencil, we are able to create a contrast in the dirt and leave a clean message behind. Our eco-friendly messaging is a great accompaniment to an event’s marketing mix. You are targeting your audience exactly where they are.. the sidewalk.
