Three30Five Moss Walls Go Up in South End

Three30Five Moss Walls Go Up in South End

Our Moss Art offerings have grown and evolved over time. We started out making custom moss logos, and now we are working hand-in-hand with interior designers and architects to include Moss Art into the plans for new buildings. Recently, our friends over at Southpark Interiors hired us to create two gradient Moss Walls for a luxury apartment complex.

Three30Five is a newly remodeled apartment in South End and they have lot of great things to offer residents. Check out some of their amenities. We LOVED creating the Three30Five Moss Walls for their upstairs lounge area. Since our moss is preserved, there is no need for any ongoing maintenance; no watering, no sunlight, no drainage needed.

These Moss Art walls were a labor of love from our team. Measuring 3′ x 8′ and 5′ x 8′, our team was able to conquer the gradient pattern throughout the entire piece. Check it out.

Love the detail of the inset wood letters inside the moss art.

As our moss offerings continue to expand, we look forward to all of the creativity that it will unleash in us. The possibilities truly are endless. Our approach to using preserved moss is to create pieces that are modern, pop art. Lot of fun colors and designs. Stay tuned for all of the fun upcoming projects we have in the works!

Custom Moss Art for Your Pie, the newest build-your-own-pizza shop in Charlotte, NC

It’s tough to get better than pizza, love and hoppiness (beer). These three things bring so much joy to the world. So when we had the chance to partner with Your Pie Charlotte on some Moss Art, we knew we had to make it fun.

Corri Smith, Owner of Black Wednesday Social Co., handled the marketing and public relations for Your Pie and she brought us in to help with the creation of this custom art. This piece of Moss Art is part of a larger installation on the back wall of the new make-your-own-pizza shop in Historic South End (2400 South Blvd.). Our preserved moss pops off the reclaimed wood wall and pairs nicely with the painted and neon sign.

It’s refreshing to see brands be creative and use our medium as an element in a larger design. We had fun with some local Charlotte friends at the grand opening a few weeks ago.

Clean Graffiti
We were able to partner with Third Rock Events on some Clean Graffiti for the upcoming South End Hops Festival. We love how the Historic South End logo is intertwined with the hop leaves. Our eco-friendly process is the perfect addition to any event. Using just water and dirt, we are able to target your audience in an unexpected way – the sidewalk. You can find these on your walk to the beer festival and throughout South End.

David Weekley Homes has been “building in Charlotte-area suburbs for nearly 20 years, but (they) recognize that life in these areas is not for every Homebuyer. The Central Living communities offer the right home for your lifestyle and low-maintenance living while minimizing your home’s footprint. Enjoy the proximity to everything you’re already familiar with, such as a variety of entertainment, shopping and dining, and easy access to sporting venues, cultural landmarks and area employers.”

It’s been fun to have people send us texts, snap chat messages and post on their social media when they see a Clean Graffiti spot. The fact that you can only see these spots when you are walking around the neighborhood makes it awesome for targeted messaging. Here are a few snaps that we received for the Love Where You Live Campaign.
