Brixx Pizza Launches Creative Marketing Campaign

Brixx Pizza Launches Creative Marketing Campaign

We love when companies contact us to do something out of the box. When they want to create a fun and interactive campaign that brings attention to their brand in a different way, that’s the ticket. And that’s what Brixx Pizza decided to do.

Brixx Pizza opened their doors in 1998 in the historic Dilworth neighborhood in Charlotte, NC. By utilizing brick ovens to enhance the natural flavors of quality ingredients, Brixx has been able to successfully open 30 stores throughout the Southeast. Not only is their pizza delicious, but they have a huge heart for this community. Most recently, Brixx Pizza donated $10,000 to the Isabella Santos Foundation.

The Brixx Pizza team had us place random branded rocks around the city. The goal was to bring attention to their Charlotte locations and encourage the downloading of their Brixx Roxx app on iPhone and Android.

Brixx Pizza launched a creative marketing campaign using branded rocks to drive traffic to their 6 locations.

You Rock. Brixx Roxx. Let’s be friends.

Creative Marketing at it’s finest, by #thesavageway.

We placed red rocks with a branded message on it near these six Brixx Pizza locations:

Birkdale (16915 Birkdale Commons Pkwy)
Blakeney (9820 Rea Rd.)
Dilworth (1801 Scott Ave.)
Foxcroft (7814 Fairview Rd.)
Uptown (225 E. 6th St.)
Fort Mill, SC (1343 Broadcloth St.)

We placed these rocks in popular, high-foot traffic areas, think parks, shopping plazas, parking lots, etc. Anywhere your family might hang out for a minute, you could find a rock. (i.e. Harris Teeter entrances, Target parking lot, Starbucks planters, etc.)

Here’s how it works:

  1. Find a “Brixx Roxx” promo rock around one of the six Charlotte Brixx locations
  2. Download the Brixx Roxx app
  3. Bring the rock into your local Brixx location
  4. Get a free, yummy surprise

It’s that easy. So go out there, pizza lovers, and find yourself a rock. Let Brixx Pizza know how much you love their creative marketing idea!

Three30Five Moss Walls Go Up in South End

Three30Five Moss Walls Go Up in South End

Our Moss Art offerings have grown and evolved over time. We started out making custom moss logos, and now we are working hand-in-hand with interior designers and architects to include Moss Art into the plans for new buildings. Recently, our friends over at Southpark Interiors hired us to create two gradient Moss Walls for a luxury apartment complex.

Three30Five is a newly remodeled apartment in South End and they have lot of great things to offer residents. Check out some of their amenities. We LOVED creating the Three30Five Moss Walls for their upstairs lounge area. Since our moss is preserved, there is no need for any ongoing maintenance; no watering, no sunlight, no drainage needed.

These Moss Art walls were a labor of love from our team. Measuring 3′ x 8′ and 5′ x 8′, our team was able to conquer the gradient pattern throughout the entire piece. Check it out.

As our moss offerings continue to expand, we look forward to all of the creativity that it will unleash in us. The possibilities truly are endless. Our approach to using preserved moss is to create pieces that are modern, pop art. Lot of fun colors and designs. Stay tuned for all of the fun upcoming projects we have in the works!

Modern, Farmhouse Style Sign Made of Preserved Moss

We had the pleasure of creating a custom Moss Art sign for Adam Fiorenza and his team at byFiorenza Communities. This developer specializes in modern farmhouse Homes in the Charlotte area. They have properties coming soon to Steele Creek, Matthews, Mint Hill and Rock Hill neighborhoods.

Our friends at 8Lincoln30, local Charlotte woodworkers, helped us craft this beauty. This piece is 6.5’ wide with the logo sitting at 6’ in beautiful forest green moss. We love the finished product. Check out some of the photos below.

Proud owners of a new Moss Art sign!

All of our work is completely custom. That means that every time a client approaches us we are likely crafting a new way to display our Moss Art – and that is fun and challenging at the same time. This project was no different. Since “communities” was so small in relation to the logo, we had to get creative and use an epoxy fill to complete the sign. We think it turned out great! Sleek, sexy and the perfect addition to this modern, farmhouse style design.

If you are interested in having us create a unique piece of art or signage for your company, give us a shout. We would love to bring your vision to life through nature.

I Stand for Pizza: Brixx Pizza Clean Graffiti Campaign

I Stand for Pizza: Brixx Pizza Clean Graffiti Campaign

Brixx Pizza is a Charlotte staple. In fact, the first Brixx Wood Fired Pizza opened in 1998 in the historic Dilworth neighborhood. Between their wood-fired oven to the fresh ingredients, it’s no wonder that the demand for Brixx now has them in more than 30 locations all over the Southeast.

In order to honor their 20th Anniversary, the Brixx team chose to partner with us on a fun Clean Graffiti campaign. We knew we wanted to create a design that truly spoke to the pizza lovers of the world and we knew in order to do that we needed to bring in a local artist to assist. Mike Wirth, founder of Talking Walls CLT and member of Southern Tiger Collective, helped us to create the “I Stand for Pizza” stencil. We created a fun piece of street art that not only represented our client but that also was fun for passersby.

Brixx Pizza celebrated their 20th Anniversary with this fun Clean Graffiti campaign: I stand for pizza.

Clean Graffiti for Brixx Pizza on the street corner.

Clean Graffiti is an eco-friendly form of advertising. It’s just water!

You have to remember that we are working with Mother Nature on all of these Clean Graffiti campaigns. The means that we are working with the contrast of dirt and high-pressure water. It’s amazing how different each sidewalk square is and just because something looks to be dirty, it doesn’t mean it actually is dirty. That is another factor that goes into every #thesavageway Clean Graffiti campaign, we land survey and study not only the popular walking areas of a target market, but the dirt levels too!

Brixx Pizza celebrated their 20th(!!!) year in business. That’s incredible. We had the pleasure of dining there not too long ago and enjoyed vegan pizza, gluten-free crust and a filling salad. And this Charlotte unicorn of a business makes some delicious food.

Delicious pizza topped with fire rosted tomatoes, artichokes, banana peppers and fresh argula.

It is the highest compliment when a client trusts us in our craft. The Brixx team let us be creative and pitch them some wild ideas before landing on this finished product. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with such good people and hope to do it again in the future!
